Amazon Prime Video recently announced the commencement of filming for the series with a brand new poster. In Matka King, Vijay Varma plays the lead role of an enterprising cotton trader in the bustling streets of Mumbai. The story revolves around the world of gambling as Vijay Varma’s character introduces a new game called Matka, which quickly gains popularity and transforms the city’s landscape.

Directed by Nagraj Popatrao Manjule of Sairat fame, the series features a talented cast, including Saie Tamhankar, Kritika Kamra, Gulshan Grover, and Siddhartha Jadhav in crucial roles, with SRM Productions producing the series. The release date is yet to be announced.
