The expectations have grown in Kalki 2898 AD after the makers released a terrific glimpse that introduced us to Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama, who has been waiting for ages for the arrival of Kalki, the tenth and final incarnation of Lord Vishnu. This Prabhas-starrer futuristic film is directed by Nag Ashwin, the man who made the timeless classic Mahanati. Deepika Padukone plays the female lead in this sci-fi drama.

Audiences across the nation are in love with the new glimpse released yesterday, and many were wowed by the de-aging look of Amitabh. Big B fans were shocked by the perfection and applauded Nag Ashwin for his vision and commitment to the film. Fans appreciated the team that brought back the vintage look of Amitabh Bachchan.

Meanwhile, Prabhas fans are super happy with the glimpse despite no visuals of Prabhas being shown. Apart from Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Deepika Padukone, the film also boasts a star cast including Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Pasupathy, and Rajendra Prasad. A new release date will be announced very soon by the production banner, Vyjayanthi Movies. Santhosh Narayanan serves as the music director.
