Nara Rohit is making his comeback with Prathinidhi 2, the second installment in the Prathindhi franchise. Murthy Devagupthapu, the famous journalist, is making his directorial debut with this film, which will be out in theatres on 25 April. Produced by Kumar Raza Bathula, Anjaneyulu Sri Thota, and Surendranath Bollineni under the banners of Vanara Entertainments and Rana Arts, the film generated interest among movie buffs with its teaser and posters.
Today, the makers unveiled the theatrical trailer, which gives us an idea of what to expect from the film. Nara Rohit plays an honest journalist who fights against corrupt politicians in a no-holds-barred manner. “Is your leader who gave some welfare policies more important to you than your family?” asks Nara Rohit to a citizen. The trailer has more such powerful dialogues aimed at the public.
The election season has begun in India, and politicians are turning the heat on with their campaigning. The timing of the release may also benefit the film greatly. Siree Lella played the heroine, whereas Dinesh Tej, Indraja, Udhaya Banu, Sapthagiri, Jisshu Sengupta, and Sachin Khedekar played crucial roles.
