Ram Pothineni and Puri Jagannadh are back with the sequel of their massive blockbuster iSmart Shankar. After unveiling the teaser a few days ago, the makers have now come up with an update on the film’s release date. Double iSmart will grace the cinemas on Independence Day, i.e., on August 15.
The movie will cash in on the long weekend, with the first Monday also being a holiday due to Rakshabandhan. The powerful release date poster shows Ram in a power-packed avatar, sporting 3 horizontal lines of Vibhooti. We can also see a Shiva Lingam and a flambeau in the background. With this, it can be ascertained that Pushpa 2 will not arrive on Independence Day.
Sanjay Dutt plays the nemesis of Ram, while Kavya Thapar is the leading lady. Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur are producing the movie under the Puri Connects banner. Double iSmart Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. The promotions will kickstart soon.
