Prabhas is a massive star, but after Baahubali, his films didn’t meet expectations. He is back in the game with Salaar, which provided an adrenaline rush to fans. The mass audience went bonkers for the way director Prashanth Neel elevated Prabhas. The actor made a king-size comeback with this flick, which grossed over 600 crores at the worldwide box office.

Salaar will have its world television premiere today at 5:30 PM on Star Maa and all eyes are on its TRP. Even Adipurush, which received severe trolls, fetched a good TRP thanks to Prabhas’ brand image and reputation among the family audience. Allu Arjun starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramulo holds the small screen record with a humongous TRP of 29.4 on its first telecast.

Salaar is a tent-pole project that also benefitted from Prithviraj Sukumaran’s captivating performance, the solid production values of Hombale Films, and an interesting storyline. Star Maa has promoted the TV premiere quite well, and the channel has also announced some exciting rewards for the audience. As the odds favor Salaar, fans expect the Prabhas starrer to garner the highest TRP ever for a Telugu film.
