Talented young actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is keenly awaiting the release of her next flick, Sabari, which is billed as an edge-of-the-seat, racy action thriller. The film is slated for release in theaters on May 3rd, and promotional campaigns are underway. Sabari is directed by Anil Katz and produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla. Ahead of the release, Varalaxmi interacted with the media and shared some interesting details about the project.

Varalaxmi said that her role in Sabari challenged the actor in her, bringing something new out of her other than the negative shade of characters she has been doing. She added that she hadn’t done anything like this in the past. Varalaxmi plays a single mother in this flick, and according to her, the mother-daughter emotion will play a pivotal role in the story.

Varalaxmi Sarathkumar further stated that Sabari is a screenplay-driven film that will thrill the audience right from the word go. She said that the action part is neatly blended with the story. The actress noted that she is ready for challenging roles.
