Thalapathy Vijay decided to stay away from films as he wanted to concentrate wholly on politics. He will be seen in a couple of films before venturing into full-time politics. One among them is The G.O.A.T, which Venkat Prabhu is directing, but there is no official confirmation about the other project.
For a long time, there has been buzz that Thalapathy Vijay will join forces with sensational director Vetrimaaran, who made intense films about oppression. At a recent event, Vetrimaaran spoke about his project with Vijay, and his words are sure to disappoint the actor’s fans. Recently, a fan-made poster appeared online stating that Vetrimaaran would direct Thalapathy Vijay’s last film. Vetrimaaran was asked about the same.
The director said, “You need to ask the people who created it. Long back, I crafted a story for him, but I don’t think it will happen now.” So it is now clear that Vetrimaaran isn’t directing Thalapathy69. Right now, the director is focusing on Viduthalai Part 2, which stars Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in crucial roles.
