ZEE5 is coming up with a new web series called Paruvu this Friday. It stars Nivetha Pethuraj, Naresh Agastya, Naga Babu, and Praneetha Patnaik in important roles. The series is based on honor killings that happened in Andhra Pradesh. Naga Babu is busy promoting the series, and in an interview, he expressed his opinion about honor killings.
Naga Babu said, “I am very much against honor killings. According to me, honor is an illusionary word. We have to respect other human beings. I keep reading news about these honor killings. If children love someone from other castes, they should be allowed to marry the people of their choice. If parents don’t like inter-caste marriage, they should cut ties or allow their children to live separately. No one has the right to kill their children.”
Naga Babu added, “People are living in an illusion. I don’t like it. I rarely played negative roles in my career. I received solid inputs from the director and the writing team, which helped me do better.”
