The trailers of Kshanam have created a huge buzz all over. With only a few hours to go before the film to release, we caught up with the main lead Adavi Sesh for an exclusive interview. Let’s see what he has to say.

Q) You look very nervous. Is that because of the film’s release ?

No ! nothing to do with the release. I haven’t slept well in the past few days because of the extensive promotions. I am also just a little curious to know how our film will be received.

Q) When you had co-written the script, why didn’t you direct the film ?

Frankly, I didn’t want to get confused with both the jobs and concentrated only on the acting part. However, our director Ravikanth has done an excellent job and the way he has showcased me in the film is just wonderful.

Q) What are the problems you face when you make a film in constrained budget ?

Every thing is very tight and all those who work for the project are only there for the interest in the script. I faced many problems and had to do everything on my own. The market and script of the film demanded us to make it in a small budget which also limited many things. But after seeing the output, I am quite satisfied.

Q) Looks like you have spent a lot on promotions ?

Yes ! The film was made on a budget of 1 crore and the same amount was spent for its promotions. This was decided during the inception of the project itself as a film like Kshanam needed to be marketed even more for a better reach.

Q) What is the USP of Kshanam ?

I feel that you will see actors trying something new for the first time. The unique casting itself has created a superb buzz for the film. The audience will be surprised to see actors like Anasuya, Satyam Rajesh and Vennela Kishore in such different roles.

Q) How different is Kshanam from the suspense dramas that have come out off late ?

I can confidently say that Kshanam is completely a new story which has no similarities to any Indian or Hollywood film. One thing is for sure that Kshanam will not disappoint you at all.

Q) How difficult was it to portray your role ?

I play a very interesting character with an intense past. The role gave me a lot to perform and you will see a new dimension in me with Kshanam. The credit should go my director Ravikanth for shaping up my role so well.

Q) So, what kind of roles do you want to do in the future ?

Frankly speaking, I am an actor and will do any role that throws a challenge at me. I have rejected many films in the past only because of the routine characterization. I wish to do films which will take me ahead in my career.

Q) Your future projects ?

I will be doing a rom-com in my brother Sai Kiran Adavi’s direction very soon.
