Nanditha is one actress who is slowly making her presence felt in Tollywood. She plays the title role in this week’s release Savitri. On this occasion, we caught up with her for a detailed interview. Here is the transcript.

Q) How did you bag this film ?

Director Pawan Sadineni called me and said that he wanted to cast me as Savitri. Initially, I thought that it was a female oriented film and was quite sceptical about doing it so early in my career. Once I listened to the complete story, I found out that it is a decent family entertainer and was game for it.

Q)Tell us about your character ?

I play a simple girl who is quite eager to get married and enjoy all the customs and traditions. My character has a twist and how Rohit enters the scene and changes everything for her is the film all about.

Q) You seem to speak good Telugu. Why don’t you dub for yourself ?

Yes ! I am very confident about my Telugu but some how, my directors always want some else to dub for me. I would love to dub for myself in the future and am waiting for the right film.

Q)How was it working with Pawan Sadineni ?

I am a very nervous person when I am on the sets. Pawan was very critical in getting the nervousness out of me and gave a lot of confidence for me to perform.

Q)Tell us about your working experience with Nara Rohit ?

I din’t interact much with Rohit during Savitri. He is a very quiet person who is always focused about his films.

Q)Are you happy with the way your career is going ?

Yes and no. I am doing less films and would like to do big banner films in the future. As of now, I am satisfied with what I am getting in my kitty.

Q)Sum up Savitri for us ?

Savitri is a very clean family entertainer which will please every section of the audience. It also has a cute love story interlinked.

Q)Your upcoming projects ?

As of now, I haven’t signed anything yet.
