Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi is one film which has become a hot topic all over. As the film is ready for release, we caught up with hero Ram for a detailed interview. Let’s see what he has to say.
Why such a long gap after Hyper?
After Hyper, I took a small break. Also, the scripts that were coming my way did not impress me much. I waited for the right film and this is when Kishore came up with this film.
What is this film all about?
Vunnadi Okkate Zindagi is about three phases of my character’s life. One is childhood, the other two are college and post-education life. The film also deals with friendship, love, and breakup.
How is the title justified?
The whole concept of the film is that life is very simple but we complicate it completely. My character in the film is also the same who has simple and easy answers for everything in life.
What is your input in the story of the film?
I do not interfere much with the making of the film. For this film, I spoke a lot with director Kishore and spent long hours chatting about my character. We made sure that smallest and realistic situations are used in the film.
How difficult is it to come out of a failure?
Frankly, for actors, they don’t have a choice. We have to come out and start concentrating on our new film. Here, the thing is that how many days it takes for us to come out.
Working with DSP?
This is my fifth film with him and irrespective of the film’s result, he has given me some solid hits in my career.
About the heroines?
It was a very easy role for Lavanya as her character was close to her real life. Whereas Anupama’s role was quite difficult for her to perform. Both of them have lovely roles and have done a superb job.
How much is your uncle involved in your films?
I do take his help and discuss all my films with him. But the end decision is mine as the script should impress me completely.
Upcoming projects?
As of now, I am busy with VOZ and am listening to scripts. Very soon, I will reveal my next film.
