Sudheer Babu’s romantic entertainer, Nannu Dochukunduvate, is scheduled for a September 21st release. On this occasion, we had a brief chat with this film’s heroine Nabha Natesh. Here is the transcript.

Q) How did you get this opportunity?

A) Our director saw my work in a few Kannada films and picked me up for this role. Though I was part of Ravi Babu sir’s Adhugo, nothing was unveiled until the trailer was out. So technically this is going to be my first Telugu film.

Q) Tell us about yourself?

A) I’m from Bangalore. Since my college days, I was into modeling and parallelly trained in theatre. I even performed at various stage shows all over India. Being a theatre artiste helped me a lot to perform different characters confidently.

Q) Tell us about your role in the film?

A) I play a very joyful and fun loving girl in this film. My character has different shades to it. I will be seen as a mischevious and kind-hearted, helpful girl. She is a very emotional girl too. I’m lucky enough to get this kind of a strong character in my debut film itself.

Q) Working experience with Sudheer Babu?

A) He is a very comfortable actor to work with. Everything went on smoothly only because of his support and encouragement. Being the film’s producer, I never saw him tense or irritated on sets. He is such a sweet and easygoing person.

Q) Tell us about your role in Adhugo?

A) It’s again completely different compared to the one I played in Nannu Dochukunduvate. The entire film runs in my point of view.

Q) Are you nervous or excited about the film’s release?

A) Both. Since this is my Telugu debut, I’m excited to watch audience’s response, but at the same I’m quite nervous too.

Q) Do you watch Telugu films? Who is your favorite actor?

A) Yeah, I do watch Telugu films regularly. My personal favorites are Allu Arjun and Pawan Kalyan.

Q) Are you open for glamorous roles?

A) I personally feel that glamour should be part of your performance. There is nothing like only glamorous or performance-oriented roles. I’m open for performance-oriented glamorous roles.

Q) Your next projects?

A) Adhugo is ready for release. Apart from that, I’m listening to a couple of scripts. I’ll let you know once they’re finalized.
