Talented actress, Nivetha Thomas is back after a brief gap with the film Brochevarevarura. On the eve of the film’s release, we caught up with her for a brief interview. Here is the transcript.
Tell us about the film Brochevarevarura?
The film is based on some real life incidents which keep happening in our society. A particular aspect has been taken into consideration and we have made a film with enough entertainment and suspense.
Your role in the film?
I play the role of Mitra who is a classical dancer. The character is very close to my heart as it has a lot of similarities with my personal behavior and thought process. My role has been showcased in a very natural manner which will impress many.
Why are you doing fewer films off late?
It is not a planned decision. All my films keep getting delayed somehow or the other. This brings a lot of gap between films. Also, I am not in a rush to do back to back films. I choose my scripts aptly and follow my heart.
Heard that you have signed Rajinikanth’s Darbar?
The news of me getting the offer is true but nothing has been finalized yet. If I get a chance, I would be the luckiest one to act in a Rajini film.
Future projects?
I have signed a film in Tamil and Telugu. I am superb excited for the Telugu film and will announce it soon.
