Hero Prabhas has taken the global box office by storm and how! The actor’s just released mythological epic, Adipurush, has already collected a massive $1 million plus gross at cinemas across North America. The film eyes a massive gross from here on, with a possible $4 million gross in its opening weekend.

According to the latest trade updates, Adipurush grossed over $850K from the pre-sales and Thursday night premieres in the USA and Canada. And on Friday morning, Adipurush’s Telugu version has collected a gross of $180K from 230 locations till 9:30 am EST. On the other hand, the film’s Hindi version has grossed another $120K from 260 locations, taking the Friday total to $300K until 9:40 am EST.

Also starring Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles, Adipurush released this morning amid humongous hype and expectations. However, the film has received a largely mixed response from fans and critics alike. It remains to be seen if the Om Raut directorial manages to pull off a miracle and post solid numbers over the weekend.
