Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay’s political entry has been a hot topic for over a decade now. But it finally looks like the Leo actor’s entry into active politics will happen ahead of the 2024 general elections. This morning, Vijay met with hundreds of his fans and his fans’ association Vijay Makkal Iyakkam members in Chennai to discuss his political entry.

Addressing his fans in the meeting, Vijay reportedly told them that he will be quitting movies to pursue full-time politics. Vijay went on to discuss the roadmap for his political journey. Later, senior Vijay fans informed the media that the groundwork for Vijay’s foray into politics has been completed and that they are awaiting Vijay’s nod to carry on with the party and cadre building.

Vijay fans went on to say that they have the support of the fans of popular Tamil stars Rajinikanth and Ajith Kumar. Vijay has just wrapped up shooting for his part in Leo. His last movie ahead his political plunge would be Thalapathy68.
