Hyderabad is filled with lots of movie buffs who encourage films irrespective of language. Three Hollywood biggies, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 (Mission Impossible 7), Oppenheimer, and Barbie, have hit the theatres in a short span.

All these biggies have struck gold at the Hyderabad box office. Tom Cruise starrer Mission Impossible 7, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, took a bumper opening in India, and especially many shows reported housefuls in the beautiful city of Hyderabad. Despite the arrival of Oppenheimer and Barbie, Mission Impossible 7 is still holding its fort with a good number of shows.

Christopher Nolan’s fan following in Telugu states is just incredible. A week before Oppenheimer’s release, Nolan’s previous flicks, Interstellar, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises had a re-release in Hyderabad, and all three garnered a fantastic response. Needless to say, Oppenheimer is wreaking havoc at the Hyderabad box office.

The bookings are rock solid in Hyderabad for Oppenheimer even on its first working day (Monday), giving us a hint about the film’s destruction at the box office. Oppenheimer had its biggest opponent in the form of Barbie. In countries like the USA and Australia, Barbie outperformed Oppenheimer, but it is the other way around in India.

This Margot Robbie starrer is directed by Greta Gerwig. Barbie is also doing solid business in the bustling city of Hyderabad, and its collections are expected to grow over the weekend. All in all, movie buffs in Hyderabad are having a crazy time.
