Actress Pooja Hegde has been going through a rough patch for the past couple of years. Some of the svelte beauty’s previous movies, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Cirkus, Acharya, Radhe Shyam and Most Eligible Bachelor, failed to set the cash registers ringing. Recently, the actress was in news after she exited from Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh for reasons unknown.

However, the latest buzz in the Hindi film circles reveals that Pooja has bagged a big project in Bollywood. The actress has reportedly signed popular Hindi actor Shahid Kapoor’s soon-to-commence investigative thriller, Koi Shaq. The film will be directed by well-known Malayalam filmmaker Rosshan Andrews of Mumbai Police and Kayamkulam Kochunni fame.

Koi Shaq’s regular shoot will kick-start in October and the entire shoot will be wrapped up by December. While Shahid will be playing a police officer, details about Pooja Hegde’s role in Koi Shaq have been kept under wraps. Siddharth Roy Kapur will bankroll the movie in association with Zee Studios.
