Actress Payal Rajput’s latest thriller, Mangalavaaram, released in cinemas yesterday (Nov 17) amid a lot of positive buzz and intense promotions. The Ajay Bhupathi directorial opened to decent reviews and even the word of mouth among moviegoers is quite encouraging. Kannada composer Ajaneesh Loknath’s background score is one of the main highlights of the movie.
Thanks to the positivity surrounding the movie, Mangalavaaram managed to pack a solid punch at the box offices worldwide. The film grossed a cool Rs 4.36 crore at the global box office. Needless to say, this is a very promising start for a film of this scale and budget. With no major film in competition, Mangalavaaram is sure to pocket more till the next weekend.
