Salman Khan made his Hindi debut as a hero with the film Maine Pyar Kiya which was directed by Sooraj Barjatya. Salman has given some of the biggest hits with Sooraj Barjatya in the past and they were all set to team up again.
Going into details, Sooraj Barjatya readied a script for Salman Khan which was titled Prem Ki Shaadi. After listening to the script, Salman felt that he was too aged to play a young groom and walked out of the film.
Now, as per the latest update, Sooraj Barjatya has approached Shahid Kapoor for the main lead’s role and the latter has given the green signal. A few changes are being made to suit Shahid’s image and the shoot will begin soon.
Salman has never rejected any film of Sooraj Barjatya to date but his walking out has shocked everyone and has given Shahid a new high in his career. Watch this space for more.
