Maverick director Rajamouli, his son Karthikeya and a few family members and teammates recently landed in Japan for the special screenings of RRR. The movie is about to complete 2 years of its theatrical journey, and it continues to receive immense love from the movie lovers across Japan.
However, this morning was quite unexpected and scary for Team RRR in Japan, as they survived an earthquake. Karthikeya took to X and tweeted his brush with the earthquake. “Felt a freaking earthquake in Japan just now!!!
Was on the 28th floor and slowly the ground started to move and took us a while to realise it was an earthquake. I was just about to panic but all the Japanese around did not budge as if it just started to rain!! (sic),” he tweeted. The young producer concluded his tweet on a lighter note, saying, “Experience an earthquake box ticked.”
Upon reading Karthikeya’s tweet, fans from all over the world were anxious about the well-being of Rajamouli and his family members. On the work front, Karthikeya recently announced a couple of exciting projects in a joint collaboration with the Baahubali makers. Both the movies will feature Malayalam star Fahadh Faazil as the main lead.
