Since this morning, reports of star Kollywood music composer GV Prakash Kumar and his wife Saindhavi’s separation due to “irreconcilable differences” have been going viral on social media. Needless to say, fans and well-wishers of the star couple were upset with the speculations. Finally, GV Prakash has opened up about the reports and announced his divorce from Saindhavi.
GV Prakash took to X just a while ago and shared a note. “After much reflection, Saindhavi and I have decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage, for the sake of our mental peace and betterment while preserving our mutual respect for each other,” tweeted the talented composer. He went on to urge everyone to understand and respect their privacy during this deeply personal transition.
GV Prakash is the nephew of Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman. He married his childhood sweetheart, Saindhavi, in 2013. Saindhavi is a popular playback singer and even sang several superhit songs composed by GV Prakash. They have a 3-year-old daughter.
