After multiple postponements, Vishwak Sen’s Gangs of Godavari has finally hit the screens. Directed by Krishna Chaitanya, the intense action drama received mixed to negative reviews. The film shows the rise and fall of a youngster. After Tillu Square, Tollywood didn’t have a proper hit, and the audiences have been craving entertainment.
The lack of proper releases and Vishwak Sen’s craze helped Gangs of Godavari register fair occupancies in Telugu states. According to the latest update from the production house, the film collected 8.2 crores gross on its first day. As the public talk isn’t positive, it will be interesting to see how this mass flick fares from today.
Gangs of Godavari is produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the tunes. There is also a sequel for this Vishwak Sen and it will be announced very soon.
