Pan-India stars Prabhas and Deepika Padukone-starrer sci-fi thriller ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is gearing up for a massive world theatrical release on June 27. The film is being released in 2D, 3D, and IMAX formats. The recently released trailer has succeeded in piquing the audience’s curiosity, and trade circles predict over Rs 100 crore gross opening on the release day.

Living up to the hype, Kalki 2898 AD is registering thumping advance bookings across the world. The Hindi version, in particular, is leaving Bollywood trade circles pleasantly surprised. As of now, the film has collected over Rs 1.50 crore nett from the advance bookings for the Hindi versions at leading multiplexes across the country. Going by this response, the movie is sure to post a Rs 20 crore nett on its opening day, and the numbers may also go up to Rs 25 crore based on word of mouth after the early morning shows.

Kalki 2898 AD features a stellar cast, including Indian cinema legends Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Anna Ben, Pasupathy, and several others in key roles.
