Director Venky Atluri is riding high on the success of Vaathi/Sir. The social drama starred Dhanush as the protagonist. The director’s next release is Lucky Baskhar, which features Dulquer in the lead role. Lucky Baskhar is Dulquer Salmaan’s third straight Telugu movie after Mahanati and Sita Ramam.

Initially, it was announced that the film would arrive in theatres on September 27. However, the makers of NTR’s Devara also announced September 27 as the release date. Hence, the Lucky Baskhar team had no option but to either prepone or postpone the release. According to the latest update from the production house, Lucky Baskhar will grace cinemas on September 7.

The movie will be out in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam languages. Recently, the first song, Srimathi Garu, was released, and it garnered a very good response. G.V. Prakash is composing the tunes. Meenakshi Chaudhary is the female lead. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are producing the film under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
