After a slight delay, the makers of Nani and Priyanka Mohan’s upcoming action drama, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, unveiled the film’s much-awaited second song this evening. The song, titled Ullaasam, is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while it is penned by lyricist Sanare and sung by Sanjith Hegde and Krishna Lasya Muthyala.
Ullaasam is a breezy romantic melody duet right from the beginning. The song starts off with Priyanka Mohan telling Nani that she will marry a person who doesn’t even know the spelling of violence. Ullaasam has an impressive blend of traditional and jazz music, culminating in a soothing, light-hearted melody. Ullaasam is in stark contrast to the film’s recently released first single, ‘Garam Garam’, which unravels the aggressive character portrayed by Nani.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, also starring SJ Suryah and Sai Kumar in key roles, is being directed by Vivek Athreya. Senior producer DVV Danayya and his son, Kalyan Dasari, are bankrolling the project under the DVV Entertainment banner. The film will have a pan-India release on August 29.
