A low-budget movie, ‘Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam’ generated decent buzz with its trailer and the movie team’s unique promotions.
The concept-based, low-budget film features versatile actor Rao Ramesh, along with Ramya Pasupuleti, and Ankith Koyya in the lead roles. Lakshman Karya, who earlier directed Sumanth Ashwin and Niharika’s ‘Happy Wedding,’ is the film’s writer and director.
Talking at a promotional event, the director said that numerous amusing incidents from his life inspired him to write the story, and added that audience will fall in love with the film.
The film’s presenter, Thabitha Sukumar, the wife of director Sukumar, stepped into the industry with this project. The movie is slated to release on August 23 in theatres, with Mythri Movie Makers handling the release.
Bujji Rayudu Pentyala and Mohan Karya are co-producing the film under PBR Cinemas and Lokamaatre Cinematics banners.
