Though it’s been nearly eight months since Sreeleela appeared on the big screen, the young actress is constantly in the headlines for one or the other reason. Sreeleela is taking time to sign projects, but she is staying in the limelight by attending pre-release and award functions.

Recently, many Bollywood portals reported that the Pelli SandaD actress will romance Sidharth Malhotra in the upcoming family entertainer Mitti, which is set to be directed by Balwinder Singh. It looks like Sreeleela is hoping to make it big in the Tamil film industry, too. According to the latest buzz in Kollywood circles, Sreeleela will star opposite star hero Sivakarthikeyan in her Tamil debut.

As per the grapevine, Sreeleela’s Tamil debut film will be Puranaanooru, which is one of the most anticipated projects of Kollywood. National Award-winning director Sudha Kongara is wielding the megaphone for this flick. It is said that the makers have recently conducted a photoshoot on the lead pair.

If the buzz turns out to be true, then it will surely be a great launch vehicle for Sreeleela in Tamil cinema. On the other hand, Sreeleela is also part of a few Telugu films, including Nithiin’s Robinhood, Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh, and Ravi Teja’s RT75, which are currently in the production stage.
