Emergency is a film that has become a hot topic of discussion. Kangana Ranaut acts and directs the film which is up for release on September 6, 2024, in a big way.

Kangana will be seen in the role of Indira Gandhi and the film is about the time when the famous PM announced an Emergency in the state of Punjab several years ago.

This led to many issues and riots and ultimately Indira Gandhi was killed. Now, a huge agitation has started that the film shows the Sikh community in a bad light. A section wants the government to ban the film and the same is the case with Telangana too.

The discussions are on and the news is that a delegation from the Telangana Sikh Society, led by former Indian Police Service officer Tejdeep Kaur Menon, submitted a representation to the CM Revanth Reddy expressing deep concerns and wanted a ban of the film in Telangana.

We need to see what CM Revanth Reddy’s course of action will be in the days to come. The same is the situation in a few other states of the country. Let’s see what happens.
