Kollywood star Vijay’s most eagerly awaited action thriller, The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), is all set for a humongous release worldwide on September 5. Vijay will be seen in the dual role of a father and son. He will also be appearing in a de-aged role in the Venkat Prabhu directorial.

Vijay has a decent fan base across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. His previous movies like Master and Leo earned big bucks in the twin Telugu states. Even though the buzz for GOAT’s Telugu version is yet to gain steam, the opening day numbers are expected to be good, considering the fact that no major Telugu film will be in competition with the Vijay-starrer.

It’s well known that leading Tollywood production house Mythri Movie Makers’ distribution wing Mythri Distributors LLP will be releasing GOAT in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. As per the latest updates, GOAT has to collect Rs 23 crores, including the Tamil and Telugu versions, to reach the breakeven number in the Andhra, Ceded, and Nizam regions. The film might achieve this target comfortably if the reviews and word of mouth stand positive on the opening day.

GOAT also features Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prasanth, Prabhu Deva, Laila, Jayaram, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, and others in crucial roles. The film is produced under the AGS Entertainment banner. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the film’s music composer.
