Vettaiyan, starring Superstar Rajinikanth, is scheduled to hit the screens on October 10th. The makers are working round the clock to complete the post-production works. TJ Gnanavel, who grabbed the eyeballs with Suriya’s Jai Bhim, is the director of this biggie. Today, the makers commenced the musical promotions by releasing the first single.
Titled Manasilaayo, it is a peppy dance number from Anirudh. From the lyrical video it appears that Manasilaayo is a celebration song shot on Rajinikanth and Manju Warrier. They both play husband and wife in Vettaiyan. Anirudh has mostly provided high-octane songs with electrifying beats for Superstar, but this song gives us festive vibes.
TJ Gnanavel seems to have included all those commercial elements that one expects in a Rajini film. The movie is reportedly based on false encounters and will revolve around judiciary, police, and entrepreneurial systems. Vettaiyan also has Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, and Ritika Singh in crucial roles. Lyca Productions is bankrolling this flick.
