The GOAT is Vijay’s latest film which has taken a solid start in Tamil Nadu. But that is not the case with Telugu states. The Vijay starrer has fizzled out after the opening day and is out of several theaters.
The pre-release business was held for close to 15 crores in Telugu states and the film has not even made half of the business. All those who have bought The Goat in Telugu states will see massive losses of over 5 crore as per the news.
The action drama had a wide release in Telugu states but sadly, it has ended as a big flop. Director Venkat Prabhu has given a silly reason stating that the film flopped due to the presence of CSK cricket team references in the film.
All this will not help the film one bit and the same is the case with the state of Karnataka as well. We need to see how The Goat fares in the days to come.
