Kollywood star Suriya’s ambitious period action-fantasy drama, Kanguva, was supposed to hit theaters on October 10 as a Dasara festive treat. However, the makers of this Siva directorial had decided to temporarily postpone the release, as Superstar Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan also hits theaters on the same day.

And the latest buzz in the Kollywood circles reveals that Kanguva makers are planning to release the movie on November 14, which is a national holiday. Incidentally, soon after Kanguva’s postponement news emerged on the internet, it was rumored that the film will be released on October 31, to cash in on the big Diwali festive weekend. Well, fans will have to wait until the makers come up with a formal announcement regarding Kanguva’s release date.

Bollywood stars Bobby Deol and Disha Patani will be seen in lead roles in Kanguva. Noted Kollywood producer Gnanavel Raja of the Studio Green banner has bankrolled this prestigious project. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music. Keep watching this space for further updates.
