In a recent interview, Arvind Swamy himself revealed this interesting news, which took movie buffs by surprise. Arvind Swamy said, “I was supposed to play SJ Suryah’s character in Maanaadu. I asked for one month time due to date issues. But the team could not wait, and I respected their decision. Until now, I haven’t watched the movie since I could not imagine others in that character which was offered to me.”

Arvind Swamy’s loss is SJ Suryah’s gain, as the latter grabbed the opportunity with both hands and did complete justice to the cop role. After Maanaadu, SJ Suryah was flooded with offers from multiple industries, and he is now the most sought-after artist for antagonist roles. He has biggies like Veera Dheera Sooran, Game Changer, Indian 3, and others in his pipeline. On the other hand, Arvind Swamy will next appear in Karthi’s Meiyazhagan, which releases next week.
