With just over 3 days to go for the film’s grand release, NTR’s highly anticipated pan-India action drama, Devara, received a huge boost from the Telangana government yesterday. The Revanth Reddy sarkar has given its nod to hike Devara ticket prices across the state for 10 days. Additionally, the government also allowed extra shows at all the single screens and multiplexes.
NTR, who is currently in Los Angeles to attend Devara’s first world premiere at the Beyond Fest 2024, took to X last night and thanked Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and Cinematography Minister. “My heartfelt thanks to the Honourable CM, Sri @revanth_anumula garu, and Cinematography Minister, Sri @KomatiReddyKVR garu, for issuing the new G.O. for the #Devara release. Grateful for your unwavering support for our Telugu Film Industry,” tweeted the star hero.
Following the new G.O., Devara’s ticket prices at multiplexes have been capped at Rs 413 and Rs 295 at single screens for the opening day (Sept 27). From day 2 onwards, the tickets will be priced at Rs 354 at multiplexes and Rs 206.50 at single screens, respectively.
Also featuring Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles, Devara, directed by Koratala Siva, is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Mikkilineni Sudhakar, and Kosaraju Hari Krishna. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the film’s soundtrack.
My heartfelt thanks to the Honourable CM, Sri @revanth_anumula garu, and Cinematography Minister, Sri @KomatiReddyKVR garu, for issuing the new G.O. for the #Devara release. Grateful for your unwavering support for our Telugu Film Industry!
