Superstar Rajinikanth will be next seen in the action drama Vettaiyan. The film, set for release on 10th October, is based on the lives of encounter specialists. TJ Gnanavel, who made a solid impact with Jai Bhim, is the director of this biggie. The first single, Manasilaayo, brought very good hype to the film.

The latest update is that Vettaiyan has completed the censor formalities. The CBFC gave this Rajini starrer a U/A certificate, and the approved runtime is 163 minutes (2 hours and 43 minutes).
