Legendary Tamil director Mani Ratnam is currently overseeing the post-production work for his highly anticipated gangster drama, Thug Life. For this project, Mani has joined forces with stalwart Kollywood actor Kamal Hassan after almost 37 years.
Now, if the ongoing buzz in the Kollywood circles is to be believed, Mani Ratnam is planning an ambitious project that will feature none other than Superstar Rajinikanth. Apparently, the Mani Ratnam-Rajinikanth combo is almost finalized, and the project will be officially announced on Rajini’s birthday on December 12.
If the news turns out to be true eventually, it will mark the duo’s second collaboration after the iconic gangster drama, Thalapathy, which released over 33 years ago. Needless to say, the Mani Ratnam-Rajinikanth mutual fans will have a blast once the project gets an official announcement.
