Released on September 27, NTR’s pan-India action drama, Devara, has become a smash hit at the global box office. The Koratala Siva directorial has completed a week-long journey in cinemas worldwide and grossed over a whopping Rs 410 crore so far.

NTR opened up about Devara 2 in a latest interview post the first part’s phenomenal success. He revealed that they had wrapped up several crucial scenes for the second part while filming the first installment. “Our responsibility has increased with the success of Devara Part 1. The sequel will be much better and grander than the first part. We wish to take our time to make the film reach a wider audience,” said Tarak.

The star hero went on to say that the script for the Devara sequel is ready and that it just needs some fine tuning. “Koratala Siva garu worked very hard for Devara. I have asked him to go on a holiday for 45 days before commencing the work on Devara pari 2,” he added.

Devara features Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. The film is produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Mikkilineni Sudhakar, and Kosaraju Hari Krishna, while star Tamil music composer Anirudh Ravichander composed the soundtrack.
