After directing Devil, renowned producer Abhishek Nama is back with his second directorial venture, Nagabandham – The Secret Treasure, a pan-Indian mythical adventure.
Announced a few months ago, the movie had its launch event today in Hyderabad, with Chiranjeevi attending as the chief guest. It was revealed that *Peda Kaapu* actor Virat Karrna, Nabha Natesh, and Iswarya Menon will play the lead roles. The film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Jay Prakash, Murali Sharma, B.S. Avinash, and others in significant roles.
Megastar Chiranjeevi clapped for the lead actors, and Talasani Srinivasa Yadav switched on the camera. Ajay Bhupathi directed the first shot, while Asian Suniel handed over the script to the makers.
After the discovery of treasures at the Padmanabhaswamy Temple and the opening of the Ratna Bhandar at Puri Jagannath Temple, the topic of hidden riches became a sensational story across the country. The 108 Vishnu temples in India are protected by a practice called Nagabandham. The film’s storyline delves into the secret behind Nagabandham and its association with these temples.
Presented by Lakshmi Ira and Devansh Nama, the movie is produced by Kishore Annapureddy under Nik Studios and Abhishek Pictures, and co-produced by Tarak Cinemas. Regular shooting will begin after October 23, 2024, and the movie is slated for release in 2025. Abhe is the composer of this pan-Indian film, which features Kalyan Chakravarthy as the dialogue writer and Soundar Rajan S as the director of photography.
