Ever since India’s numero uno director SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 1 and 2 created history in 2015 and 2017, respectively, there have been speculations about a possible third installment from Rajamouli’s creative universe. It’s worth mentioning that even Baahubali writer V Vijayendra Prasad once confirmed Baahubali 3, while Rajamouli always maintained that the world of Baahubali will be explored in ways the audience could never imagine.

And here’s an interesting development regarding Baahubali 3. In a latest interview while promoting his upcoming production venture, Suriya’s Kanguva, top Kollywood producer Gnanavel Raja said that he had spoken to Baahubali makers around a week ago and went on to confirm that Baahubali 3 is in the pipeline. Gnanavel Raja brought up the Baahubali 3 topic to justify the long gap between Kanguva and its sequel.

“I spoke to Baahubali makers last week, and they are planning the third part. Even Kalki 2 will release after they make 2 movies in between. The same with Salaar 2,” said Gnanavel Raja, who had presented Baahubali 1 and 2’s Tamil versions. Needless to say, the star producer’s comments on the sequel to India’s biggest motion picture have become a hot topic on social media.
