Star Kollywood actor-director duo Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj joined forces with each other for the second time and delivered Tamil cinema’s new industry hit, Leo, last year. Released on October 19, 2023, the film ended up grossing over a staggering Rs 621 crore worldwide.
As Leo turns 1 today, Lokesh took to X and penned a heartfelt note, thanking Vijay, the film’s cast and crew, and the audience. “So many learnings, so many memories, so many exciting moments. The film that will always stay close to my heart, #Leo Love you so much @actorvijay na for making it happen. Eternally grateful to all the people who have spent their sweat and blood for this film, and the audience,” tweeted Lokesh.
Leo also featured star heroine Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Madonna Sebastian, Priya Anand, directors Mysskin, Gautam Menon, and several others in prominent roles. The film was produced by SS Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music.
