Earlier, we reported that Salman Khan would appear as the iconic Chulbul Pandey in the much-awaited Bollywood action drama Singham Again. The biggie headlined by Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone will be out in theatres this Diwali.

The filming for Salman’s cameo was supposed to happen on October 14, but the shoot didn’t go as planned due to the demise of Baba Siddiqui, a close friend of Bollywood Megastar. Ajay and Rohit Shetty felt that requesting Salman to participate in the shoot in these tough times would be insensitive.

Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who claimed to have killed Baba Siddiqui, issued death threats to Salman and demanded a ransom of Rs. 5 crores from the star. Amidst all this controversy, the makers of Singham Again decided to drop the idea of Salman’s cameo.

However Bhai kept up his word and gave his nod to be part of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe despite his personal turbulences. Today Salman shot for his cameo in Mumbai despite the security concerns, proving that he is a man of his word. Salman agreed to be part of Singham Again due to the close bond he shares with Shetty and Ajay Devgn.
