Among the Diwali releases, Dulquer Salmaan’s Lucky Baskhar has a very good buzz. The theatrical trailer was highly promising, and it is certain from the trailer that the film stresses the significance of money in our lives. Directed by Venky Atluri the movie is hitting the screens on October 31st.
The latest update reveals that the makers are arranging over 100 paid premiere shows across Telugu states on October 30th from 6 PM onwards. This is a solid move from the makers, and if the film manages to receive good reports from these shows, it will help the film rake in terrific openings on Diwali day.
At the same time, these special premieres are risky if the content doesn’t meet expectations. The makers of Mr. Bachchan and Shaakuntalam went ahead with paid premiers, and these films bit the dust due to their underwhelming content. We need to see if this strategy will work for Dulquer Salmaan starrer.
Lucky Baskhar deals with the scams and manipulations that happened in the banking sector in the 1980s. Happening beauty Meenakshi Chaudhary plays the female lead. Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments, in association with Sai Soujanya of Fortune Four Cinemas, produced this flick. GV Prakash Kumar composed the tunes.
