Ritu Varma joins Sundeep Kishan’s Mazaka with a viral meme

The makers of Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming comedy entertainer, Mazaka, have finally revealed the actress who will be playing the female lead in the movie. Talented young actress Ritu Varma has been roped in to play the leading lady in this Thrinadha Rao Nakkina directorial.

Welcoming Ritu Varma, Mazaka makers took to social media this evening and shared a special video featuring Sundeep and Ritu on the film’s set. The fun video is inspired by a viral Chinese video meme in which a husband effortlessly escapes from being slapped by his wife. “Welcome the super talented @riturv, #VarmaGaru on board as our Leading Lady. The fresh pairing of People’s Star @sundeepkishan and #RituVarma is Heart of #Mazaka,” said the makers.

Mazaka is being produced jointly by Anil Sunkara and Razesh Danda under AK Entertainments and Hasya Movies, respectively, in association with Zee Studios. The film is slated for release during the Sankranthi festive season in January next year. Leon James is composing the music.
