Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s film is tentatively titled SSMB29 and will go on floors in 2025. Any hero who teams up with Rajamouli will undergo a massive transformation and this requires more time. Hence, fans must wait a bit longer to see their hero on screen. But it appears that Mahesh fans can soon celebrate their idol in a special manner.
If the latest media reports are to be believed, the Telugu Superstar will be seen as Lord Sri Krishna in the upcoming film Devaki Nandana Vasudeva, spearheaded by Mahesh’s nephew Ashok Galla. Superstar’s role as Lord Krishna is said to be a cameo and the official announcement from the team is expected to come out soon.
Mahesh Babu previously supported his relatives Sudheer Babu and Ashok Galla by attending their pre-release events and launching the trailers. But he never starred in any of their films. Devaki Nandana Vasudeva will surely get a huge boost if the star actor’s presence is confirmed.
Interestingly, Prashanth Varma, who directed the divine blockbuster HanuMan, penned the story for this Ashok Galla starrer. Directed by Arjun Jandyala, the film has Varanasi Manasa as the female lead. Somineni Balakrishna is producing it under the Lalithambika Productions banner.
