Lady Superstar Nayanthara celebrated her birthday today, and on this occasion, her wedding docu-film Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairytale was released on Netflix. At the same time, a new film of hers was announced.
Titled Rakkayie, the movie’s title teaser was released and looks captivating. Nayanthara appears fierce, engaging in a brutal fight with goons who are on their way to kill her baby girl. Dressed in a saree, she wields a large staff in one hand and a curved weapon in the other. She looks both fierce in the poster and rebellious in the teaser, exciting her fans.
The period action drama is directed by debutant Senthil Nallasamy. Drumsticks Productions and MovieVerse Studios are collaborating to produce the film, which will be released in pan-Indian languages. Details about the shooting and other aspects of this Govind Vasantha musical will be shared soon.
