By now, it is well known that star heroine Nayanthara and Prabhu Deva were in a relationship and were planning to get married way back in 2011. However, just days before their wedding, they separated. In her new Netflix documentary, Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale, Nayanthara reveals that Sri Rama Rajyam, the Telugu film, was meant to be her last movie. Nayanthara shares that she never wanted to quit films, but Prabhu Deva had put forth a condition that she leave acting to get married. Without mentioning Prabhu Deva’s name, she clarifies in the documentary that it was her then-boyfriend who asked her to stop acting before marriage. Sri Rama Rajyam, directed by the late Bapu, featured Nayanthara as Sita. She reportedly broke down on the last day of the shoot, believing it was her final film. However, since then, times have changed, and Nayanthara continues to act in films.
