Bollywood star heroes Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn took their fans by pleasant surprise by announcing a movie in their combination. Ajay Devgn is wielding the megaphone for this flick, and Akshay Kumar will play the lead role. The announcement was made at Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2024 on Saturday. Ajay Devgn previously directed films like Runway 34 and Shivaay.

According to a report in Bollywood media, the movie is an action comedy-drama that has space for another protagonist. The report mentioned that Ajay Devgn is looking to cast young star hero Vicky Kaushal alongside Akshay Kumar. Ajay Devgn is said to have been mightily impressed by Vicky Kaushal’s body of work, which is why he is considering the URI actor for the second hero role.

Vicky Kaushal is an actor who fits into any role, and it will be a treat to see him share the screen space with Akshay. The project is expected to go on floors in the last quarter of 2025. Akshay Kumar is currently busy with the films Jolly LLB 3, Housefull 5, Welcome To The Jungle, and Hera Pheri 3. On the other hand, Ajay Devgn is now occupied with Son of Sardar 2’s shoot.
