Bollywood star Varun Dhawan and National Award-winning South actress Keerthy Suresh will soon be seen in the highly anticipated action drama, Baby John. The film is an official remake of Kollywood star Vijay and Jawan director Atlee’s Theri. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan played a special cameo in the movie.

Given their massive popularity across the country, both Varun and Keerthy have reportedly been paid whopping remuneration. Apparently, Varun has been paid Rs 25 crore, while Keerthy pocketed a cool Rs 4 crore for Baby John. Senior actors Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav and young actresses Sanya Malhotra and Wamiqa Gabbi have been paid Rs 1.50 crore, Rs 1 crore, Rs 1 crore, and Rs 40 lakhs, respectively. However, Salman’s remuneration has been kept under wraps.

Baby John is produced by Atlee along with Murad Khetani and Jyoti Deshpande. Star Tollywood composer Thaman has scored the film’s soundtrack. The film is scheduled to open in cinemas worldwide on December 25.
