A wave of Telugu movies is set to release in the next 10 days, and among them, the Hollywood film Mufasa: The Lion King is generating significant buzz. Slated for release on December 20, 2024, in English, Telugu, and other Indian languages, the film has already garnered high expectations.

Telugu audiences are particularly excited as Superstar Mahesh Babu has lent his voice to the iconic character of Mufasa in the Telugu version. In a historic first for Tollywood, a star hero has been honoured with a massive cutout specifically for dubbing a character.

At Apsara Theater in Vijayawada and two other locations across Telugu states, large cutouts of Mahesh Babu have been erected in support of the movie, reflecting the deep love and enthusiasm Telugu audiences have for cinema.

Mahesh Babu’s fans are eagerly anticipating his voice work for the Mufasa character, and a special screening is planned for the release day in Hyderabad. It remains to be seen how the movie will perform in the Telugu states.
