Dabangg actress Sonakshi Sinha recently took to Instagram to criticize veteran actor Mukesh Khanna, known for portraying Shaktimaan, after he made comments about her upbringing and that of her father, Shatrughan Sinha.

In response, Mukesh Khanna shared a lengthy note on his Instagram Story, expressing his surprise at Sonakshi’s delayed reaction. He explained that while he had anticipated his comments might upset her, his intentions were never malicious. He clarified that he did not mean to malign either her or her father, with whom he maintains a cordial relationship. Mukesh emphasized that his primary intention was to comment on the younger generation, often referred to as Gen-Z, who he believes are overly reliant on technology and social media. He mentioned that their knowledge is largely limited to sources like Wikipedia and YouTube.

Mukesh further explained that he used the incident involving Sonakshi as an example to teach others, particularly fathers, sons, and daughters, about the vast cultural and historical knowledge that is preserved in India’s heritage. He wanted to remind the youth of the importance of understanding and taking pride in this rich cultural legacy. He expressed regret for discussing the matter in multiple interviews and assured Sonakshi that he would refrain from repeating such comments in the future.
